The $5,000 Grand Final of the Latin American Poker Tour will run Sep. 23-26 inside the City Center Casino in Rosario, hailed as the most luxurious casino in South America.
“I don’t think we could get better than this,” said LAPT President David Carrion. “The beautiful city of Rosario; the fantastic City Center Casino; hundreds of the best players in the world, all making for a fitting finale to what has been a truly memorable year on the LAPT.”
Already confirmed are Team PokerStars Pros Chris Moneymaker, Victor Ramdin, Dennis Phillips, Ruben Visser and Jorge Arias.
This third LAPT season featured two new stops with the tour going to Lima, Peru and Florianopolis, Brazil for the first time.
There has already been more than $3,500,000 in prize money awarded, three new champions crowned, and the first LAPT double champion: Jose “Nacho” Barbero.
Satellites for the grand final are already underway on PokerStars and there will be live satellites in Rosario on the day before the Main Event.
A number of different side events will run alongside the main event.
